I decided going to Namibia would be a great way to celebrate my 25th year with scouting in Cavagnal during which time I have worked with all sections but mainly senior ones. I have been involved in getting youth ready for several projects but have never been so am really looking forward to the experience. I am Rover Advisor, AAC Rovers & Outdoors, Trainer II and the High Adventure program director at TSR.

Amanda Doran, I have been a Scouting Leader with Cavagnal for about 8 years and what I enjoy about it is watching these young people grow up into responsible and consciencious youth and adults. I witnessed some of the youth that are going to Namibia progress from Cubs to Rovers and I have seen them inspire younger Scouting members to take the same path. I am very proud to be a part of this team of futur leaders.

I have been involved in scouting, twenty plus years. As a youth
and now as a leader. I have been to two canadian Jamboree's one world Jamboree and three service projects, this is my third and also my first as a leader. I am now an Honorary leader for the group 1st St-John's in laval, whose two official leaders are also going on this trip
I've spent five years as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. I have learned so much from previous trips, i am hoping to learn so much more as a leader.

I've been with the Hudson Cavagnal scouts since the age of six. I remember other venturers and rovers showing us what they did in other service projects and immediately hoped to do the same one day. And now I have the opportunity and am very excited to be part of this team!

I will be headed to Namibia in the middle of starting my career in outdoor education. I hope to bring the learning experiences I get to the students I will be teaching in the future. Knowledge of the surrounding world and its peoples can greatly help understand the way of the land and our connection to it. I trust this will be a priceless experience for all of us.
